Protrek's Beijing specialty counter is now open

Hong Kong's famous outdoor specialty retailer - PROTREK, opened its specialty counters in Suzhou and Dalian (Jiu Guang Department Store) in last December. Different to the general counters, the new PROTREK counters offer high quality outdoor goods from various renowned foreign brands. It will be a great favourite for all people who look for professional outdoor goods.

In addition, PROTREK become the first specialty retailer which developed in both Hong Kong and China to offer professional outdoor goods. Thereby, PROTREK members can enjoy purchase convenience in both areas.

PROTREK Company Limited was found in 1990 by several AYP Gold Award Instructors who is recognized by renowned international voluntary agencies. The first PROTREK specialty shop was opened in 1992 in Hong Kong which offered high quality international outdoor goods with excellent consulting service and quality checking. In addition, PROTREK becomes the official sponsor of 100km Oxfam Trailwalker since 2002. In 2007, the flagship store was opened in Hong Kong with 15-meter rock climbing wall uniquely. SmartWool, the best selling brand in U.S.
outdoor socks market, has set up its concept counter in Shanghai Jiuguang department store. This is the first SmartWool concept counter in the world.

In September 2009, the famous American outdoor socks and underwear brand, SmartWool, set up its concept counter in Shanghai Jiuguang department store.With the headquarter in Steamboat Springs of Western Rocky Mountain in United States, SmartWool has been 15 years old.SmartWool has occupied 57% of the U.S. outdoor socks market share, and became the market leader in the industry.Today, SmartWool not only produce a variety of outdoor and lifestyle socks, but also hat, scarf, gloves, underwear and outdoor apparel.
